A number of factors go into a fee decision, such as type of act, length of performance, travel time, technical requirements, etc. Each fee is discussed and arranged per client and event.
Agencies reduce risk and save time by ensuring defendable contracts, securing the correct rider requirements, and providing a single point of contact for complex logistics (such as international travel).
It is an artist’s list of requirements. A technical rider details the required sound, lighting, and DJ gear. A hospitality rider covers dressing room and refreshment requests.
This depends on the act and the type of event. Some of our acts are happy to play open format at some kinds of events, for instance a wedding, but may prefer to read and follow a paying crowd in a public venue, or have a specific genre in mind for a specific kind of place. All of our acts are excellent and we trust them implicitly to make the correct decision on the day. For open format type events, we encourage our clients to submit request lists, do-not-play lists, and schedule timelines in advance.
